October 05, 2005 - on Wednesday we boarded the bus early AM for New
York City. When we arrived in New York City some of the members took a
ferry & toured Ellis Island & The Statue of Liberty. The other group
took a tour around Manhattan Island passing by sights as Yankee
Stadium , Grants Tomb, going under many bridges & a lot of other sights.
Some of us took a side trip to Ground Zero via subway. We had a problem trying to get back on
the subway As our electronic tickets wouldn’t work but after many tries we got on the subway &
on the bus back to the Hotel in Albany.
